1 cup nut or seed milk (preferably raw and homemade)
1/2 tsp fresh peeled ginger
1 tsp fresh peeled turmeric
1 tbsp ground cinnamon (or 1 cinnamon stick)
1 pinch fresh ground black pepper
3 cardamom pods
1 dropper of CW Hemp Extract Oil whole plant hemp extract
1 tsp maple syrup (Grade B), or stevia to taste
(traditionally uses honey, this is a vegan version)
Directions: In a high speed blender combine all ingredients except for sweetener and CW. Blend on low speed for 30 seconds. Let rest. Blend again for another 30 seconds.
Pour ingredients through a “nut milk” bag over a bowl and squeeze until all liquid passes through, and only spice fibers remain in the bag.
Stir in sweetener to taste, and pour over ice. Add CW and enjoy.
